Johnsen Boyack, 89, died Thursday, Thursday, July 7, 1977 In Payson City Hospital of a stroke. Born Nov. 19, 1887 in Palmyra to Andrew William and Annie Matilida Johnson Johnsen, she married David R. Boyack on Nov. 18, 1908 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died on Nov. 1, 1976. Mrs. Boyack was an active member of the LDS Church and was a member of DUP. Survivors include four sons and one daughter, Glen J. Boyack, William R. Boyack, Spanish Fork ; E. Dean Boyack, Orem ; D. Ross Boyack, Price; Mrs. Lawrence H. (Phyllis) Jones, Phoenix ; 12 grandchildren ; 16 great-grandchildren; one great- great-grandchild. Funeral services will be conducted conducted Monday at 1 p.m. In the Spanish Fork 2nd-9th Ward Chapel. Hanson SPANISH FORK - Funeral services for Mark Browne Hanson, 68, of 486 N. 400 E., Spanish Fork, who died of a heart attack Wednesday, July 6, 1977 at the Payson Hospital, will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork Ward Chapel. Born June 19, 1909 In Spanish Fork to Jacob C. and Lily Browne Hanson, he married Sadie Marsh Hutchlngs on May 9, 1947 In the Mantl LDS Temple. Mr. Hanson lived In the same house his entire life. At the age of 10, he started in the sheep business and became one of the top purebred breeders in the nation, nation, winning honors with his sheep at shows throughout the western United States. He was active in promoting the sheep industry and was a director director of the Utah State Junior Livestock Show for many years, and assisted in 4th, FFA and other youth programs. Mr. Hanson also served as president of the Western Columbia Columbia Sheep Breeders Association, director of the Purebred Sheep Breeders, and director of the Utah State Ram Sale. In 1969 he was honored for 50 years of outstanding outstanding service to the sheep industry. industry. He was also an active civic worker and in 1939 was awarded the Jaycee outstanding young man award. He was a member of the Spanish Fork Lions Club for many years. An active member of the LDS Church, Mr. Hanson served as scout leader, elders quorum president and for over 20 years was the stake high priest activity fund secretary. Mr. Hanson received his education in Spanish Fork schools and attended Utah State University on a scholarship. Survivors include his wife ; one son and one daughter, Boyd Hanson and Mrs. Lynn (Mary Jane) Tuttle, both of Spanish Fork; two stepsons and two stepdaughters, Stanley V. Hutchings and Duane F. Hutchings, Spanish Fork ; Mrs. Leon E. (Marcia) Hutchings, Lander, Wyo.; Mrs. George K. (Shirley) Daley, Midvale; 19 grandchildren ; nine great- grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son. Funeral services will be con' con' ducted Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Spanish Fork Fourth Ward Chapel. Friends may call at Linde Mortuary tonight from 7 to 9 o'clock and Saturday prior to services.
