Charge Dismissed In Drunk Driving Cose A charge of driving while under under the influence of intoxicants against Howard Vlsnaw of Bark River Rt. 1 was dismissed yesterday yesterday on motion of Prosecutor J. Clyde McGonagle following court trial before Escanaba Justice Henry Ranguette. The motion to dismiss the charge was made by the prosecutor following following testimony by Escanaba police police officers. The prosecutor held the evidence was not sufficient to obtain conviction. Escanaba police arrested Visnaw Visnaw on Dec. 25 after his car struck and damaged an automobile automobile driven by Arthur J. Valiquette Valiquette of Escanaba Rt. 1. The accident occurred at Second avenue avenue and Worth 14th street. Complaint by police brought issuance issuance of a warrant against Visnaw Visnaw for leaving the scene of a property damage accident. Justice Ranguette said this charge was not prosecuted because Visnaw had obtained a release from Valiquette, and that Visnaw is to make restitution for damages to Valiquette’s car.
