Miss Trotter, Mr. Howe Recite Vows PROVO — The marriage of Miss Dorothy Trotter, daughter of Mr. and Mrs, DeWitt Trotter, and Virgil Pershing Howe of Salt Lake City, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. V. Howe of Heber, took place at the Edna Mae Hedquist home Tuesday evening. Thirty-five family members and close friends witnessed the ceremony. Philip Trotter played the Wedding March from Lohengrin as the processional. The bride was preceded to the improvised altar by her bridesmaids. Miss Edna Myers and Miss Edith Trotter, her sister, and th«« matron of honor, Mrs. Faun Harris. She was given in marriage by her father, and the ceremony was performed by Sharp Oillespie. The bride wore a gown of cream colored satin, a gold ornament in her hair and a corsage of gardenias. Mrs. Harris was in mist rose taffeta. Mrs. Myers in white net with red satin bolero and tiny bows and Miss Trotter in orchid net. They wore pink roses and sweet peas. William Wright of Heber was best man. The bridal party stood In front of the fireplace, the mantel holding six cream colored candles in a brass candelabra. Orchid and pink sweet peas were on each side and palrns and ferns were arranged about the room. Mr. Gillespie was master of ceremonies. Refreshments were in charge of Miss Ernil Jacobsen and Mrs. Leslie Oisen, and were served from a table covered with a lace cloth and arranged with sweet peas and four cream tapers. The gifts were arranged by Mrs. Doran Johnson, assisted by Richard Trotter, brother of th» bride. Th? young couple hav? left for • ]0-day honeymoon in Los Angeles.
