designei Vici fo Former Abilenian Succumbs at Baird Miss Nora M. Monroe ol Clyde, ^'"former" A"bilcnTa'n.~"died Friday in a Baird hospital follow- Ing an illness of five days. Born Jan. 1. 1897 in Blum, Miss Monroe moved with her parents lo Callahan county In 1900. 15 in 1930 she moved lo Abilene she resided for 10 years. Two ago Miss Monroe moved to Clyde lo make her home with a B. C. Monroe, now of Waco. Funeral will be held at 3 p. Saturday at the First Baptist church 'in Clyde with the pastor at officiating. Burial will be in the Eula cemetery. The body will lie in state here at Kiker-Knight mortuary until lime for the funeral. = Survivors include six other brothers. Jim of Shrevcport, La.. Joe MclroEe. N. M.. Sebe of Oplln, of Clyde. J. M. of Pepcria. J. It. of Bakersfield. Calif.; and sisters. Mrs. J. F. Capreas, Calif., and Mrs. Harley Woods Abilene.
