Funeral' services for William L! Moulton of 17 S.. Brooklyn Ave^ owner of the M and W tire^Company and prominent in Masonic affairs, will be~ held at 2:30 p.m; Sunday at the Embser Funeral 'Home, where visitation .is being conducted ,7-9 p.m. today and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. .Saturday. He - died Wednesday night in Jones Memorial Hospital following a brief illness. A native of Abilene, Kan., Mr. Moulton was born Aug. 9. 1891, son -or William P. and Marian Imogene Bush Moulton. A longtime resident of Wellsville, he had been associated" with the. Kerr and Moore turbine, firms here and with Standard Turbine of Scio and the M.J. Reynolds Garage of Wellsville before founding the M and W Tire 'Co. w,ith Neal came owner of the company in 1938, and has been a Goodyear Tire Co. dealer for the past 3D years. .'.... He was a 50-year member of Wellsville Blue Lodge, Free and Accepted Masons, and of Royal Arch Masons. No, 143 which he had served asjiigh priest, and a life member~of Corning Consistory. He also held membership in Ismalia Temple Shrine of Buffalo, and was adviser emeritus of the Order of De- Molay. • A veteran of World War I, Mr. Moulton was a 46-year member of Morrison Hayes American Legion Post. He was a life member of the Wellsville Rpd and Gun Club, member of the Western New York Tire Dealers Association . and, also served on the . advisory board . Salvation In addition to his widow, the former Pearl Miller Reynolds, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Manley (Marjorie) Ackerman of Wellsville; a son, W. Richard Moulton of Hamburg; a granddaughter and three grandsons; two great - grandchildren; five half-sisters,'Mrs. : Esther Hartwell of Naugatuck, Conn., Mrs. Virginia Capece of Florida, Mrs, Alice Carlson of Little Falls, Mrs. Dorothy Ger- r.ow of Blooming Grove, Pa., and Mrs. Helen Irwin of St. Johns ville.' The Rev. Glenn E. Bucher, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will officiate at the funeral. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. ] Masonic services will be conducted at 7:30 p.m'. Saturday at the funeral home.
