Campbell, Belleville; W. H. Heifer, Republic; Carl T. Larson, Scandia; Andy Moore, Republic; Ruth B. Nordman-Loring, Scandia, and Charles H, Peterka, Cuba. Those seeking the Democratic nomination are: E. A. Campbell, Wayne; Bruce M. Policy, Belleville; Grant Thompson, Belleville, and Fi'ed L. Wineland, Belleville. Candidates Active All of the candidates arc active. There are not any who are lagging way behind as there arc in most elections, and the unusual number se.eking the nominations makes jjredictions worth little. The campaigner putting in the best licks these remaining days is going to gain ground, and many contrary predictions are therefore heard relative to the outcome of the races on both tickets for the sheriff noniinatidns.
