should I his yoa ebett L. A., Pioneer Girls Award Encampment Held Friday at First Baptist The Mid-Year Pioneer Girls Awards Encampment was held last Friday night in Ihe First Haptist Church, 123 S. Beaver Street, honoring 80 girls. This interdominated Girls Club consists of [our 'clubs divided by ages, second grade through high school. All girls in F l a g s t a f f a r e eligible f o r membership. Some of the awards earned were H a n d c r a f t , Sewcraft, Kitchencrall, Voyager Rank, Water, Exploring, Nature and Citizenship. Learning to use the Bible and apply its teachings in all, activities of life is emphasized al each meeting. The speaker, Miss Lots M c K i n n e y , a mission and educational worker from Brazil, was a specal treat. She had the girls "fasten their seal belts" .and was off on a magic plane trip lo Brazil. She showed colored slides of her work there. Afterwards Ihe girls had many questions to ask her. Ttie girls' parents and Prayer Pals were the honored guests SAVE $ $ $ CARPET IN STOCK AT JM FLOOR COVERING 9 N. Beaver- 201 E. The PioneÂ«r Girls colors, red, blue and white, were carried out by M i s s M a y D u n Chairman who was in charge arrangements. Mrs. H. Frank Bradford, Pioneer Girls Chairman, and Guides Mrs. Marilyn Erwin, Mrs. Sandi Kuka, Mrs. Diane L i n g e r f e l t , M Holeman, Mrs. Gladys Houchin. and Miss Lynn McCray were charge of the Encampment.
