Crocker led the winners at bat with two doubles and a single in four official trips, followed by Parrett Parrett with a triple and a single. Don Brenneman added a triple for the winners. For Cottage Grove it was Max Grewelle with two singles in four turns at bat. Chap nian doubled and Bottorff tripled for the losers. Webb and Burford combined to give the Grovers only four hits, Webb striking out four and walk ing five and Burford whiffing four while passing none.
