They were told toda; they would have to find nw and new jobs without further notice Tho three men, representing 95 cent of the homesteaders carried petition to Washington last week asking that the plan, of contributing 50 per cent of. their working hours a "community fund" with no cash a be abolished. Loss of homes 35 and jobs -was their reward. In explaining the dismissals, Day declared: "They misrepresented conditions here nt the homesteads."
