base Teachers' emergency salaries Miss Edward Mrs. Emory S. Krise Mrs. Jessie A. Krise, 49, wife of Emory S. Krise, near Centennial Hanover R. 4, died at her home Friday afternoon at 12:15 o'clock. Death followed an extended illness. Mrs. Krise was a daughter of late Lewis H. and Georgians, Hemler Miller, and was born January 27, 1894. She was a member of Cone-' wago chapel congregation. Surviving are her husband; two children, Mrs. Eugene Groft, Centennial, Centennial, and Miss Marie Krise, at home; three grandchildren and the following sisters and brothers, Mrs. Stanislaus G. Lawrence and Mrs. Guy Smith, Irishtown; Mrs. Harry A. Smith, near Brushtown; Harry J. Miller, Wan-en, Pa.; Nathaniel Miller, New Oxford; Mrs. Francis A. Klunk and Frank T. Miller, Irishtown, and Mrs. Georgiana Fink, New Oxford. Funeral Monday morning, meeting at her late residence residence at 8:30 o'clock with a mass at 9 a. m. in Conewago the rector, the Very Rev. John F. iruonnell, celebrant. Burial In"the Conewago Chapel cemetery. Tlie pallbearers were William Adams, Claude Lawrence, Charles Weaver, Paul Gebhart, Albert Neiderer Neiderer and Harry Klunk.
