LovicK P. Shaw, who was sent to the penitenitary, from this place, some few months since, for robbing letters of money while a clerk in the postoffice, has been extended extended the clemency of the President. So we are notified in a private letter from Mrs. Belva A. Lockwood, who has acted as his attorney in the premises. Sho was here at tho time of Shaw's arrest, and stated then that if he was convicted she would obtain his pardon. She states that tha petition petition presented for pardon, besides being signed by a great many citizens of Austin, was also indorsed by all the Texas members of Congress and by Senators Hamilton and Flanagan.
