1 DNEYEAR Department's Facilities Will Be Available for Emergency Un der New Arrangement Acting on the recommen' dation of the county forestry board, the board of supervis ors yesterday voted to trans fer f oiest fire protection and suppression activities in San Bernardino from the county to the state forestry depart ment. The transfer was voted following a confere- confere- e between the supervis ors, the county forestry board, and two state forestry representatives. The change takes effect Aug. 1, and continues until June 30, 1931, when the supervisors may renew or discontinue the arrangement.
