Semi-annual report of the National Executive Secretary of the Socialist Party of America, William Mailly. Mailly notes the existence of 32 state affiliates of the SPA at the start of the year, which had grown to 35 by mid-year with the addition of the Socialist Parties of Vermont, Alabama, and Arkansas. Average paid party membership stood at an average of 13,482 per month, Mailly notes, an increase of 3,500 per month. Actual membership if all dues were paid would be more like 16,000, he notes.
