Curtis Fields Receive 300 At Open House Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Fields of 3204 Clifton St., received approximately 300 friends at an open house in their home Saturday from 2-5 o'clock and 7-9 o'clock in observance of their golden wedding anniversary. Bouquets of chrysanthemums and yellow roses were used in the decorations throughout the home. The couple was married April 11. 1909, in Sims, 111. Out-of-town guests here for the celebration were Mr. and Mrs. James Roach of Topeka, Kan., Mr. and Mrs. Jeff Henson of Sims, Mrs. Ronald Stillwell and son of Camp Lejeune, S. C., Mr. and Mrs. Russell Fields and Mr. and Mrs. Warren Duff of Nebo, 111. During the day, Mr. and Mrs. Fields received a call from their son, Larry Fields of Atlanta, Ga., who could not be here for the observance. Assisting with the serving were Mrs. Charles Smith, Mrs. William Admire, Mrs. Robert Stillwell, Miss Sharon Mills, and Mrs. Roach, all granddaughters of the honorees, and Miss Margaret Hopper.
