MINER KILLED BY LIGHTNING. I Amos Behanna, Residing at Victory, Struck by a Bolt and Instantly Killed Home Set on Fire. Amos BehaDna. a miner, residing at Victory Hill, was instantly killed by lightning Thursday morning. Mr. Behanna Behanna had just prepared to go to work in the mines and was standing in the open doorway of his residence waiting for the downpour of rain to cease. Just about this time the lightning which w..s very sharp, struck Mr. Behanna Behanna killing him instantly. The bolt also set fire to the dwelling but the flames were extinguished before any d 'mage was done The bolt which killed Behanna struck him near the left temple, passing passing down his side, across his breast and do.vn his light leg. Amos Behanna was aged about 54 years, and was a hard working, frugal miner. He is survived by his wife and several children mostly grown up. The funeral takes place Saturday at two p. ui.
