The Nebraska federation of women's clubs la in a fight to a finish for the passage of a pure food law, and though the law was defeated at the last session session of congress the women in the fed- fed- eraiea ciuus, siaie ana imiioiiui, win not lay down, but on the contrary will battle for the law with tremendous force in the future, as was Indicated this morning at the session. Mrs. Harriet MacMurphy of Omaha declared that Nebraska Is the greatest grower of - foods In the land and If they ' can be made pure after they have gone ' through the manufacturing process, the Inhabitants of the state muy In time live to reach the average age of 100 years. It waa reported that there had been a gain of eighteen new clubs since the Inst meeting, and reports from dis tricts indicated prosperous conditions and a wldor realization of the broadening broadening acope of women's clubs.
