Minersviliage Man Is Smothered To Death Michael Morinchin, eighty-two, of 25 Minersvillage, was fatally injured about 4 p. m, yesterday afternoon when an embankment caved in while he was 'digging for discarded iron ore in the rear of his home. He was discovered discovered . by his grandson, Charles Morinchin, who went out to summon him to supper. The youth approached the spot where he last saw his grandfather and discovered a shoulder of the buried man sticking out of the slag. The twelve-year-old youth quickly summoned help nnd nearby workers responded, Morinchin was pronounced dead -->y Dr. A. H. Heisey, Quentin, who listed the death as acci- dental. Moriuchln, n retired miner, was digging- discarded ore when tho slide occurred. Dr. W. H. Bru- b'akcr, county coroner, reported the mnn was buried tinder tho dirt for nearly two hours and tho immediate immediate cause o[ death was suffocation. suffocation.
