SERVICES HRD AT WEST BIND FORW.H.RABE WEST BEND -- Services for William H. Rabe," 77, were held a week ago Friday, Feb.' 22,., p.m. at Herbert Balgeman home and 1:30 p.m. in Peace Lutheran church at West Bend. The Rev. E. E. Greene officiated. Casket bearers were Wilmer Bleuer, Wm. Hanselraan, Ervin Harms, Lloyd Drussell, 'Albert Bell and Harold Gronbach. A mixed octette sang, accompanied by Mrs. Tim Klein. Burial was in the West Bend cemetery with the Bogaard Funeral Home in charge. William Henry Rabe, son of William and Christine Rabe was born near West Bend Jan. 27, 1880. He died at his home" in Pelican Rapids, Minn., Feb. 18, from a heart attack. Mr. Rabe was bom and raised in and around West Bend and lived in this vicinity until moving to Minnesota in 1908. For most of his life he was engaged in farming until about 6 years ago when he retired and moved to Pelican Rapids. Baptized and confirmed in the Lutheran church, Mr. Rabe was a member of Lutheran church Pelican Rapids where a short service was held for him Wednesday morning Surviving are the brothers and sisters: Mrs. Anna Streit, Alabama; John, West Bend; Mrs. Fred Hanselman, West Bend; Mrs. Emma Bell, Mankato; Henry, Columbia Falls, Mont.; Otto and Charley Pelican Rapids; Mrs. Dora Gronbach, Livermore; Mrs. Herbert Balgeman, Mrs. Harry Drussell and Mrs. Ernest Bleuer, West Bend
