Trenton, N. J.; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Sunset Memory Garden Funeral Home with full military honors by Wright-Patterson Air Force Base. The Rev. Lester Vandergriff LAFOLLETTE, Tenn. — Lester C. Vandergriff, 68, LaFollette R.R. 3, died at 7:15 p.m. Monday, April 17, 1995, at LaFollette Medical Center. He was a former resident resident of Maynardville, a disabled Army veteran of World War II, and a member of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1152, Kokomo, Kokomo, Ind. He was of the Pentecostal faith. Surviving are five daughters, Alice Welcher, Peru, Ind., Ailene Huffman, Marion, Ind., Peggy Gist, Kokomo, Laura Chadwell, LaFollette, and Shirley James, Walton, Ind.; two sons, Sam Cox and Eddie Ray Vandergriff, both of Kokomo; 22 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronnie Vandergriff, Knoxville; a sister, Mossie Collins, Maynardville; Maynardville; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death were his parents, Oscar and Laura Vandergriff; Vandergriff; a son, Edward Carnell Vandergriff; Vandergriff; a grandson, Robbie Welcher; three sisters; and two brothers. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, Thursday, at Cooke Mortuary Chapel, Maynardville. The Rev. Walter Smith will officiate. Interment will be at Dyer Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Rick Nussbaum, Bob Welcher, Roger Collins, and Brian, Chris, and Laban Chadwell. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. William Sharp Sr. KEMFfON, Ind. — William M. Sharp Sr., 75, Kempton R.R. 1, died at 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 18,1995, at his residence. He was born July 19, 1919, in Gatliff, Ky., a son of James D. and Sarah (Bleu) Sharp. He was married March 21, 1947, in Harlan, Harlan, Ky., to Wilma J. Gilbert, who survives. He retired in 1979 from Continental Steel Corp. where he worked in the shipping department. He was a member of KOkomo Missionary Baptist Church and United Steel Workers 1054. Also surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, William M. Jr. and Kay Sharp, Columbus, Ohio; two daughters and sons-in-law, Gloria J. and Joe VanHorn, Russiaville, Russiaville, and Sherry A. and Glenn Schoettlin, Evansville; seven grandchildren, Cherri VanHorn, Cindy VanHorn, and Tony VanHorn, VanHorn, all of Russiaville, Angie Sharp and Amanda Sharp, both of Auburn, and Kevin Schoettlin and Kyle Schoettlin, both of Evansville; two great-grandchildren, Steven Sharp and Megan Sharp, both of Auburn; three brothers, Carl Sharp, Sharpsville, Willard Sharp, Williamsburg, Ky., and James D. Sharp, Lexington; and two sisters, Lela Teague, Greenville, Ohio, and Thelma Fugee, Florida. Preceding him in death were two sons, Larry Sharp and Kenneth Sharp; a grandchild, Keith Sharp; a brother, Andy Sharp; and a sister, Bessie Hensley. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Kokomo Missionary Baptist Church. Don Watts and Nathan York will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Cemetery.
