10:31 a.m. Dorothy Smith Dorothy Alice Smith, 89, 429 W. Lincoln Road, died at 6:35 p.m. Sunday, April 16, 1995, at Howard Community Hospital. She was born Dec.

8, 1905, in Detroit, a daughter of Donald A. and Elizabeth (Mann) McKenzie, both deceased. She was a registered nurse for Saint Joseph Hospital Health Center, Howard Community pital, Saint Joseph Hospital, Logansport, Metropolitan Life Insurance Company, and was a licensed RN in Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church and had been a past president of Indiana Nurses Association, a member of the Professional Women's Club of Logansport, and a member of the Florence Nightengale Association of Logansport. Surviving are her church family and a host of friends.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bible Baptist Church. John Sitton and Daniel Johnson will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call from 9 the service time at the church on Saturday.

Allen Funeral Home, Bunker Hill, is in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Bible Baptist Church or Child Evangelism. Dempsey Smith Dempsey Smith, 57, 1002 Waubesa Court, died at 11:06 a.m. Monday, April 17, 1995, at Howard Community He was born May 25, 1937, in Enterprise, a son of Arthur and Victoria Smith. He was married June 1, 1960, in Evreux Normandy, France, to Evelyne R.

Gaudin, who survives: He retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1976 with the rank of Master Sergeant. He served first in Vietnam, then spent a 20 year career in the Air Force, ending his service at Grissom Air Force Base. He was most recently employed as a security guard with Burns Security. He was a member of American Legion Post 6.

He was born March 3, 1920, in Muncie, a son of Dean D.

and Glenn M. (Call) Binkley, both deceased. He was married May 27, 1966, in Saint Joseph, to Dottie L. Tyner, who survives. He retired from Delco Electronics Plant 8 in 1993, He served in the Army during World War II and was a member of Binkley American Legion Post 6.

Binkley He was of the Baptist faith. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Rick Eltzeroth, Kokomo; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Max Lynn Binkley, Traverse City, Joe and Iffat Coning, Rome, Jim and Glenda Coning, Greentown, and Jay and Carol Binkley, Nashville, 13 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, Bill Binkley, Kokomo. Also preceding him in death was a brother, Dean Binkley. Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Ellers Mortuary Webster Street Chapel.

The Rev. Dr. Mike Holloway will officiate. Burial will be at Albright Cemetery with full military honors. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m.
