Carter, ons of tha county', county', oldest and most well known cttU sens died yesterday morning, at the home ot his daughter, Mrs. Robert Dreenwood, at Grace. The deceased was eighty-eight eighty-eight eighty-eight years ot sge and for, several years was one ot the prominent prominent business men of the Big Ivy section section nt this county. Revere! years ago. however, he moved to Qraoe making his home with his daughter at that place. He was a consistent member ot Ura e Methodist Protestant church, and was a man of strong character. He was very popular and the news of his death will be learned with regret by his friend. In this county. The funeral services will be conducted conducted this morning nt o'elock, at the residence of Mra Greenwood, after after which the body will be taken to Democrat for burial. Rev. C. W. Intra and Rev. J. 8. Williams will orrlclnte at the funeral services.
