FRED R. WITTMER A well-known well-known well-known groceryman of Cross Keys died unexpectedly at 9:10 A. M. Wednesday at Mercy hospital where he was admitted at 8:40 A. M. Wednesday. ' He was born in Altoona Jan. 7, 1890, the son of Henry and Rose (Mayer) Wittmer. He was a member member of St. James Lutheran church and BPOE 102. He leaves his wife, Eliza (Mcintosh) (Mcintosh) Wittmer; the following children, Frederick R. Jr., with the U. S. Marine corps, Memphis, Term.; Mrs. Alma Kaminski of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Helen Hill of Cleveland, O.; one brother and three sisters, Henry Wittmer, Mrs. Emil Conrad, Mrs. Lydia Conrad and Mrs. Nettie Loucks, all of Altoona. Friends will be received at the N. A. Stevens mortuary after 7 P. M. Thursday.
