25 in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home. Rev. John Barton officiated. Cremation was at Victory Victory Memorial Park Crematorium in Surrey. Pallbearers were Ed and Ralph Halsall, Carl Wilson, George Goddard, Sam Bateman and Douglas Goddard. Mr. Dunn was born Dec. 10, 1891 at Woolton Hill, England. He lived in the Chilliwack area 70 years and was a retired custodian custodian with School District No. 33 Chilliwack. He was a charter member of the Fraser Valley Milk Producers and member of the Horticulture Horticulture Society. He is survived by his sister, Kathleen of Chilliwack and several nieces and nephews. GEORGE ROBERT BOWERMAN George Robert Bower-man Bower-man Bower-man of 46076 King Ave. died Feb. 21 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Funeral service was held Feb. 26 in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home. Elder Alf Beer assisted by Dr. A. Phelps officiated. officiated. Burial was at Maple Ridge Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers were Tqny Stenseth, Nels Christensen, Henry Campbell and Harry Rock. Active pallbearers were Ed Larsen, Tom Beer, Ron Fetterly, Mac Christensen, Bill Hopen and Robert Webster. Mr. Bowerman was born Nov. 11, 1896 at Armada, Armada, Michigan. Formerly of Maple Ridge 1921-1965 1921-1965 1921-1965 he lived in Chilliwack since 1970. He was retired from Hammond Cedar and was a member of the Chilliwack Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He is survived by his daughter, Lois (Mrs. David) Rock of Oakville, Ont.; two grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Bonnie in 1973. BARBARA BOTHE Barbara Bothe of 45550 Hodgins Ave., died Feb. 27 at Chilliwack General Hospital. Funeral service was held today in the chapel of Henderson's Funeral Home. Pastor Alfred Lennox officiated. Burial was at Carman cemetery. Pallbearers were Bob Wirsz, Bill Pocock, Alan Hamilton, Kelly Greives, Arlan Weststrate and Duanne Clarke. She was born July 24, 1894 at Bukovina, Austria and lived 34 years in Chilliwack. She was a retired housewife and had lived on McNaught Rd., Chilliwack and was a member of Seventh Day Adventist Church. She is survived by three daughters, Vera (Mrs. Frank) Wirsz of Chilliwack, Marjorie (Mrs. Gordon) Scott of Waterloo, Ont. and Eva Pocock of Port Co-quitlam; Co-quitlam; Co-quitlam; one son, Rev. John Bothe of Belsville, Maryland, U.S.A.; 15 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; great-grandchildren; one sister, Mary Sebastian of Grande Prarie, Alta. two brothers, Vincent Kaytor of Grande Prairie and Martin Kayror of Hamilton, Ont. She was predeceased by her husband, Steven in 1969 and son, Michael in 1978. Notes from the past: Men rushed in from all parts of the Valley to join the colors when war was declared against Germany Germany on Dec. 4, 1914.
