There Was No Came. C. H, Clow came over from Philo last week as manager of the Philo baseball team and took the boys down to Hopland where a game had been arranged. arranged. There seemed to be a miS' understanding however as the Philo boys wanted to play in the morning and take the noon train back to this city so they could return the same day. The Hopland boys insisted that the gime was to have been in the afternoon as a crowd could not be secured in the morning. The result was that there was no game. The Philo beys who came over were: Red Baker, Jerrold Brooks, Irvine Ingram, Paul Ray, James Dutro, Marion Dutro, Clarence Harris, Je(T Sraalley, Ted Igram. Ern Whipple, Clarence Dightman, Wes Patterson and Floyd Parton.
