101 be on Clara Bickle f Funeral services for M r Clara Wenzel Bickle were held this afternoon at the Harris Funeral Home, Highland, with the Rev. Victor Schoen, pastor of the Evangelical United Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was in Marine Cemetery. Mrs. Sickle, 66, of Route 1, St. Jacob died Thursday at a.m. at St. Joseph's Hospital, Highland, where she had been admitted the preceding day. Born Sept. 14, 1898 in Bosworth, Mo., she was the daughter of the late Ed and Ella Wilkenson Elson. Her first husband, Percy Wenzel, whom she married Dec. 25, 1921, died April, 1939. On Jan. 10, 1949 she was married to Paul Bickle, who survives. Other survivors are two sons, Clarence W. Wenzel of Loo- goopee, Ind , and Gerald D. Wenzel of Highland; one daughter, Mrs. Dolph (Clarene) Seger of Highland; two brothers, King Elson of Highland and Robert Elson of Marine; two sisters, Mrs. Carrie M. McGowen of Patmos, Ark., and Mrs. Rena Jones of Edwardsville Eleven grandchildren survive. O n e brother preceded her in death.
