(UPI)-An Army court martfal board is scheduled to convene today at this sprawling base--the fourth site of action against 27 soldiers charged with mutiuy for partici- jating in a sit-down strike at he Presidio Stockade In San Francisco. Today's aclion involves 14 defendants. Eight soldiers 'have been convicted and sentenced to erms ranging from 9 months 16 years for their parts in tho demonstration last October. Three were tried- at tho Presidio, one at Fort Irwin Jeath Valley and four at Fort Lewis, Wash. The Sixth Army switched tha site from San Francisco to oilier locations on grounds that :he many antiwar demonstra- :ions in the bay. area could ring a verdict prejudicial to the defendants.
