Mirier* COOPER — Cy Peters born in Charleston, Texas, Aug. 31, 1935, was called home Friday, Feb. 14, 1997, after losing a courageous battle with cancer. He grew up in East Texas and moved to Dallas to attend Adamson High School, where he met and married his high school sweetheart; He and Mary Lou raised seven children in Dallas. He was a member of Ferris Masonic Lodge AFAM 460. He was preceded in death by his father, Jolly Peters. Survivors include his wife; his mother, Lillian Peters; seven children, Rae Beth, Ruth, Margie, Lynda, Brett, Bart and Glenn; two sisters, Jenny Guthrie and Lynda Hill; 13 grandchildren, grandchildren, five great-grandchildren; a brother-in-law, Harold Hill; and sister-in-law, Pat Archer. ,„ -iitttnecalH set vices;! i wiHrqfae Monday, Feb. ; 17; 1997, at Delta Funeral Home in Cooper.
