Lovewell April 8—Mr. a n d Mrs. Roy Truex and children of Natoma spent Saturday night and Sunday at the Homer Truex home and y^,.^ p'erguson home. Mrs. Lela Frances of Fullerton, Neb., spent the week at the home of her sister, Mrs. Laurii Mcttler and family. Don Mcttler has recently returned from Japan and is l>eing discharged from the army at Clii- this week. Mr. and M-rs. Raymond Ferguson and daughters of Topeka visited relatives here over the week-end. Mrs. Norman Doxon is visiting relatives at Sterling, Kan,, at present. The Marr and Leece relatives' j gathered at :\Irs, Stella Mari''i- Sunday to help her celebrate her birthday, .Mr>;. ' Henry Topliff entertained W.S.C.S. last' Wednesday. John Henry Miller spent hist week at the Dick Heldt home. He came to attend the funeral of his brother, Pete Miller, at Sandin on March 31. Karl Myers and sons Krncst and Tyynn went to .Smith Centeri Sunday to visit Gertrude Myers. Mrs. .Myrtle Myers returned home with them. The Leonard Leece family enjoyed a hamburger fry at Quentin Leece's Friday night, Chet Poole made a business tri)) to Minneapolis Saturday. , Mr. ami Mrs. Wayne Cessna and Ruth Jo are here from St. Augustine, Fla., visiting at Em- mctt Rothchild's. Mr. and Mrs. John Godsey, Pat-J ricia and John of Superior spent last week at Emmett Rothchild's. The seniors will give their play. "Aunt Samanthy Robs the Roost," April 11. Mrs. Fred Marcott took her grandsons Freddy and Larry to Junction City Saturday where they remained with their parents.
