XIO Unit Has Last Meeting Members of Xi Iota Omega Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority closed the club year at its final meeting last week at a covered-dish supper at the home of Mrs. Billy M. Bass, 105-34th SE. Guests were Mrs. Woody Rochelle and Mrs. Ed Thomas. After the Opening Ritual, conducted by Mrs. Charles Bailey, the new president, Mrs. Bailey named the f o 11 o w i n g as committee chairmen for the ensuing year: Mrs. Donald Blackburn, program; Mrs. Bass, membership; Mrs. James P. Miears, service and publicity; Mrs. Charles Hodges, ways and means; Mrs. George Williams, telephone, and Mrs. Larry Bonner, social., The yardstick was totaled and copies made to send to international headquarters. Mrs. Miears presented "the past president's gavel pin to Mrs. Hodges, immediate past president. :. The Closing Ritual and Mizpah closed the meeting. During the social hour, members revealed secret sisters and gifts were opened. Games of crazy bridge completed the evening. Mrs. Williams won the door prize.
