Bryant, is said to have worked a convict to death- Tragedy at Sulvey. Ran.* KJSQMAN, Kan., Sept. a—There is considerable considerable excitement in the city over a> tragedy that was enacted at Spivey, in the* southern part of this county, last night. W. W. Magruder, who runs a drug store and billiard hall, and William Wilson, a discharged bridge foreman of tbe Chicago, Chicago, Kansas & Western railroad, had. quarreled frequently of late, the former accusing Wilson of stealing his watch. About nine o'clock lost night:they renewed their quarrel at the billiard hall, and In the rumpus Wilson struck Magruder with bis flat.
