Bull Fight Fans Open Fall Season A party was heW Saturday night at the Roman'e to touch off the opening of the fall season for the- Aficionados de Toros. Pena Taurina de Brownsville was the host to entertain the Ma- ladors who will appear today at the Plaza de Toros in Matamoros. Members of the Club Taurino "La Muleta" Journeyed from New Orleans, La., to jota the Brownsville club end Pena Taurina de ftfatumoros met with the two clubs In an evening of flamenco dances and songs of Spain, to honor the matadors, Rafael Rodriguez, Elíseo "Charro" Gomez and Jesus Delgadillo, El Estudiante. Club Taurino of London, England had sent a colorful silk membership banner and a letter of greeting. Dr. Felipe Ramirez Morilez, president of the Matamoros club, Marc A. Barrosse, Jr., of New Orleans, and Howard F. Murphy of the Brownsville club, greeted Ihe matadora íor the members of the respective clubs. Mr. Murphy explained that every Latin country has clubs of this kind, and that in recent years clubs taurino have been formed in the United States, includ ; ng New York, Dallas, El Paso, Los An- jeles, Denver, Chicago, New Orleans and Brownsville. He said the members are devoted to the artistry of the "Corrida de Toros," to the music of Spdin and Mexico, the folk dances and a study of the language and customs of these countries.
