The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office at Lawrence said a kid­ naping charge had been filed against Honeycutt Authorities said he waived extradition to Kansas Thursday. A pickup order for Honeycutt was issued after his car was found in Kansas City Monday A police helicopter crew, tak ing part in the search for the girl, spotted her yellow dress in a wooded area between Kansas 32 and the Kansas Turnpike. Trooper Dave Morrison of the Arkansas State Police said Honeycutt admitted killing the girl.
