(JAY) BOLL, 68, who was presi-' presi-' presi-' dent and chief officer of the Construction Construction Association of Michigan, died of a stroke Wednesday at the Angela Hospice Hospice Care Center in Livonia. . During his presidency, the association association grew to become the largest trade association of its kind in North America. Mr. Boll began began his career on the East Coast with the U.S. Rubber Company. Lat er, he moved to JohnA. M,cSnaand (Jay)Boll sales representative for Harrigan & Reid of Detroit. He became president of the firm before taking the helm of the association in 1972. Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mr. Boll, a University of Michigan graduate, was a longtime Grosse Pointe resident. Mr. Boll was a past president of the International Builders Exchange Executives, Executives, the Michigan Society of Association Association Executives and was a member of the Construction Financial Managers Association. He was an avid reader and enjoyed history. Survivors include his wife, Mary Ann; daughters Katerine and Jennifer; sons John, Michael, Peter, David and Patrick; and 16 grandchildren.
