Dorce Hartgroves Dorce Hartgroves, 68, of Paris died Thursday, Nov. 30, 1995, at his home. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 2, at Iminanuel Baptist Church with the Rev. Randall Scott officiating. Gene Roden's Sons, Directors of Funerals, will make burial in Oaklawn Cemetery in Cooper. The family will receive friends from 6:30-7:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Mr. Hartgroves was born May 9, 1927, in North Hopkins County, a son of Henry Clay and Berdie Wood Hartgroves. He was retired as a plumber for C&S Plumbing. He had served in the Army and was a member of Immanucl Baptist Church. He married Helen Louise Bryant Aug. 30, 1958. Surviving are his wife; a son, William Hartgroves of Paris; three daughters, Tammy McNeece of Blossom, Linda Spills of Paris and Connie Jeter of Lindale; a brother, Willie Hartgroves of Paris; a sister, Gladys Mowrcy of Paris; and eight grandchildren.
