STOKES RITES TO BE FRIDAY Funeral iervices for William Claude Stokes will be conducted Rt 2 o'clock Friday afternoon in the 'lerce Street Baptist Church. Previ- iusly, it had been announced serv- ces would be held In Blackburn- Shaw Chapel. Rev. Earl Hatchett, minister of the Pierce Street church, will officiate. Pallbearers will be W. S, Boyds,on, Paul Sullivan, Orady Odom, Joe Hubbard, Ralph Qatlln and J. W. Holloway. Burial will be in Llano Cemetery. Mr. Stokes, 55 years old, of BIT North Houston, died Wednesday morning in Northwest Texas Hospital. An independent trucker, he had ived in Amarillo the past 8 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church. Among survivor* we hl« wife, two sons, two daughters, his mother, four brothers, three sister*, ft stepson and a stepdaughter.
