Manning, first president of the Auxiliary here, Mrs. M. B. Emons, new president of the Auxiliary, tn- roduced Mrs. Manning and ex- gained the object of the planting. Commander etoneham of the Legion Legion post made the dedicatory .ddress. Mrs. Manning threw in the first ahoyelful of dirt, and vis- ting presidents followed her. During the program the East Alton*Wood River Community High School band played "America" in accompaniment to the community singing, and "The Star Spangled Banner."
