Winds and rains actually raised the roof at the home Mr. and Mrs. Bill Goolsbee of 1107 Sunset in Pasadena. Three cottonwoods and three pine trees were uprooted by the storm which took off many shingles all over the roof and destroyed the carport and sidewalk cover. An air conditioner was also destroyed as was other tree. A campernextdoor to the Goolsbees was moved half a block from its original location by the fierce winds. The damage was all done the Goolsbee children slept soundly undisturbed inside. Mrs. Goolsbee is well known to many Deer Park residents as she works in a local business. business.
