Longino Rojas HELPER, Carbon County Funeral Funeral Mass for Longino Rojas, 77, of Helper, who died Sunday, Aug. 17,1975 in Carbon Hospital in Price after a short illness, will be Friday at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church. He was the stepfather of Mrs. Gilbert (Pauline) Sanchez of Salem. Mr. Rojas was born March 13, 1898 in Mexico to Vicente and Antonia Ortiz Rojas. He married Petra Reyes in 1923, and she died in 1949. He then married Maria H. Palacios. Mr. Rojas was a member of the Catholic Church. A miner, he was a retired member of the United Mine Workers of America Local 9958. Survivors include his widow; four sons and three daughters, AJvero Rojas and Mrs. Albert (Matilda) Martinez, both of Helper; Luis Rojas, Whittier, Calif.; Manuel Rojas, Victorville, Calif.; Max Rojas, Concord, Calif.; Mrs. Julie Gonzales, Shawnee, Colo.; Mrs. Rufino (Rufus) Truba, Ogden; five stepsons and five stepdaughters, Mrs. Sanchez, Salem; Joe Palacios, Manuel Palacios and John Palacios, all of East Carbon City; Pete Palacios, Helper; Robert Palacios, Carlsbad, N.M.; Mrs. Joe (Ruby) Ledema, San Jose, Calif.; Mis. Robert (Emma) Iliso, San Francisco; Mrs. Frank (Margaret) Hermandez, California; 49 grandchildren, and24 great - grandchildren. Holy Rosary will be recited Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Mitchell Funeral Chapel in Price, where friends may call tonight, Wednesday, . and Thursday as well as Friday prior to services. Burial will be in Price City Cemetery. 8
