The notice referred to reads as follows follows : "Disappearance of B. Brubaker, a Dunkard minister, formerly of Springfield, Springfield, Ohio, Drove from his farm near Centropolis, Kan., on June 19, 1888, to Lawrence, Kan., where he disappeared and has not been seen or heard of since. Said Brubaker was about 55 years old, measured about 5 feet 10 inches., weight about 165 pounds, full beard, without moustacne, hair long, curly and considerable considerable gray, black eyes with heavy eyebrows, eyebrows, rather coarse featured, dressed in a dark jeans suit and a broad-brimmed black hat, generally carried natural, crooked rustic cane. A liberal reward will be given for tbe above-described or a clue to his whereabouts." A Boy's Bad Luck.
