a bo no Poputy Sheriff Brubakor. Tho theft was committed at midnight. Cyrus Sheet/, of Florence, was awakened by a racket. He looked out a window and saw a team go by the house at a lively rate. He went out and discovered his hen house open. Ho then went over to the P. H. Leslie place and got that gentleman out of bed. Gus Sheetz was also a victim. They drove to town, got out a warrant and took Brubaker along with them. Tho tracks made by the wagon were followed from the Sheet/ house to the Brochious place in Loran township. Tho parties were arrested, and acknowledged stealing twenty chickens from Cy Sheet'/-; three turkeys and three chickens from Leslie, and four turkeys from Gus Sheet 1 /,. A great crowd assembled at tho Marvin court. They were held in $500 bonds each. Josiah Brochious was arrested years ago for stealing feathers. It is thought the parties stole Ed.
