OPEN DRIVE INSURANCE MEN Those Who Have Not Made Reports and Paid Taxes! Will be Prosecuted, Council Decides. The Wood River City Council at | Its meeting last night decided on a I campaign of prosecution against all i insurance agents doing business in | the city who have not made a report j on the business done by them within i the past year and who have not paid I in their 2 per cent tax to the city as re- j quired by ordinance. It developed at a report made to the council by City Attorney F. J. Manning that several have not paid. Instructions were given to the city attorney to file suit against those not reporting and prosecute them under the ordinance for not complying with a its provisions. One agent in particu- lar who has a branch office In Wood River was reported not to have made , a. report although asked to do so scv- f eral times.
