" GE ™" E ' (Continued From Tare One) Sharpe served nine years as city attorney. Three years ago he was appointed .municipal judge to fill'a vacancy. Thc city commission again appointed him in December. 1938, as municipal judge to succeed F. Ray Gillespie, who was elected county prosecutor. Mr. Sharpe held thc judge's post until April when Benjamin P. JacQbs was elected. -iSix daughters and a son survive Mr. Sharpe. They arc: Miss Sarah Sharpe of the Sault; Mrs.'Lconorc Kilby of Spokane, Wash.; Alberta, who ia the wife of Dr. Frank I. Ridge of Kansas City, Mo.; Kale, the wife of Dr. W. F. Gilbert of Lcwiston.^ Idaho; Mrs. Lucille. Jefferson of Ypsilanti; Marion Sharpe of Salisbury! Conn., and Louis E. Sharpe, comptroller for the American Water and Electric Co. of New York. Airs. Sharpe died in 1930. Funeral Tuesday Funeral services will be held nt 2:00 p. m. Tuesday at the Vandor- hook Chapel with Dr. Ross .W. Stoalccs of the Central Methodist church officiating. Burial will be in Riverside cemetery with Knights of Pythias services at the grave. Honorary pallbearers will he John P. Old, Sr., and W. E. Davidson, representing: the Masons; Mayor Paul L. Adams and Henry A. Sherman, city manager, representing the city; and H. A. Osborn and Michael Hotton, representing the Knights of Pythias. Pallbearers will be Otto Supc. Donald Finlayson, Arxa Swart, Wallace Lundy, Robert Haugh and Sam C. Taylor. Grand Chancellor Commander S. W. F. Garnctt of the Michigan Knights of Pythias, Past Grand Chancellor Commanders C. Morgan Bcckmnn and Arthur Fitch, plan to attend the services. Mr. and Mrs. Donald Sharpe of Lansing also are expected to attend the services. Mr. Sharpe Is a nephew. Mrs. Ridge, a daughter from Kansas City, Mo., IB also to attend. Mr. Sharpe was a member of the Woodmen of the World, past master of the Masonic lodge, paat high priest of the Chapter, member of the Mystic Shrine and past commander of the Knights Templar. He was pa-?t Grand Chancellor commander of Michigan Knljjhts of Pythias and past Chancellor commander of the Sault lodge. Will E. Hampton, grand keeper of records and scaU of the Grand Lodge, Knights of Pythias, who held that office while Mr, Sharpe was Grand chancellor, cancelled a Memorial Day address at Charlevolx in order to be able to attend the Sharpe funeral tomorrow, it learned this afternoon.
