Curtis Cheatham DEPORT — Curtis Cheatham, 82, of Deport died Thursday, Sept. 29, 1994, at McCuistion Regional Medical Center. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct . 1, at First United Methodist Church in Deport with the Rev. Jim Keith and the Rev. Glynn Ren- fro officiating. Wood Funeral Home will make burial in Highland Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Cheatham residence. "Dedo," as he was affectionately known to his grandchildren, was born in Glory, Texas, Aug. 16, 1912, a son of William Stiles and Mary Mitchell in Deport on May 24, 1935. After retiring as a farmer and rancher, he worked in the health care industry, putting to use his God-given talent of caring for others. He is survivied by his wife; his daughters and s-in-law, Peggy and Durwood Wims and Jane Buddy Bern/; his grandchildren; Matt Wims, Grand Paririe; his sister-in-law and her husband, of rvnnrf ^pvpral ui Lycuuii, ^tv&iai MicheneBerrand hris topher Berry, all of > dhc d m and nephews, and many cherished friends.
