The First National Bank, of Greencastle, was awarded a verdict of $6,100 in common pleas court here against J. G. Latshaw, Adam Baer and Ambrose My em, in an action instituted by the bank to collect the amount, a balance of a 17,000 promissory note, executed by the defendants In March, 1919. Counsel for Lat - shaw, Baer and Myers contended the note was signed as an accommodation to the bank at the solicitation of J. Edgar Young, ex - cashier, and was not intended to be collected. A new trial has been asked. of
