Snyder performed the djouble.-rih^:- ceremony;, ^t 3:45 p.m., -Feb. 20. : JHe.'bridfe'is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James Collins Sherrhah 1 of. 161 We^t-Sevier Ave. The bridegroom is the son of Mrs. Marion Francis'Childers of 3829 Bonita St. Vows were exchanged ( amid decorations consisting of large baskets filled, wilh'-white chrysantliei.mms, background of greenery;^ and altar catidlus. A program^f wedding music was presented by Mrs. Charks Root, '.organist. THE BRIDE.^eiVEN in marriage by her father, wore a 'ftoor-length/gown of peau de soie and pearWrimmed chantilly-'lace.' The filled-bodice was styled'with short sleeves and a sabring neckline. The A-linc skirt featured a' high-rise waistline and full chapel train. Lace medallions were appliqued on the front skirt and outline the train! Her 'bouffant veil of silk illusion was held in place by a .Juliet cap of lace and pearls. She carried a Colonial bouquet of white roses. Miss Elizabeth Jane Sherman served her sister as maid of honor. Bridesmaids were the bride's sister, Barbara Dclois Sherman, and Mrs, Vickie Russell Light. THEIR GOWNS WERE of maise and mimosa chiffon. The fitted maise bodices featured full sleeves and high necklines with tiny button front trim. The mimosa skirts were complemented by a high rise waistline trimmed with flower braid. Their headpieces were clusters of yellow flowers holding veils, and they carried long-stemmed yellow roses and fern with gold streamers. Robert McLean served ihe bridegroom as best man. Ushers were Ben Walker Nelms Jr., and Thomas B, III. , . ' ; ' . - . . '- . ' · A reception, given by the bride's parents, was held in the fellowship hall of Ihe church. The bride's book was kept by Mrs. Sherman Nelms, sisler of the bride. The couple is residing in Kingsport. Here's me and Joey. He's my very best friend. I've got lots of . friends! Birds. Chipmunks. Squirrels. They're all my friends. . My mom says Jumping-Jacks .are my friends, too. Know why? Friends take care of you, and she'says Jumping-Jacks really take care of my feet.
