Will's Creek Rises Eight Inches in a Short Space of Time--A Freight Wreck Adds to the Other Trouble on Pennsylvania Road. There was a cloudburst this morning at Mann's Choice, on the Pennsylvania railroad that caused a washout delaying north and southbound passenger trains over an hour. Much damage was also wrought Sulphur Springs, Buffalo Mills and Fossil ville, P*. The downpour of rain was the greatest for a few minutes that was ever witnessed in that locality. The heavy fall extended nearlv to Cumberland, truck gardneri, suffering much loss out the Little Valley road. It also rained very heavy at Hynd- mand and also ai Ellerslie. Will's Creek at this iioinr raised S inches less than an hour Xot only were The railroad track? badly covered w i t h muck, but of the hillsides between here and Mann's Choice were tiddled until the earth seemed to have been almost entirely washed to the lowlands in places. Despite the terrific fall of rain here and nearby during the week weather continues \ery warm and humidity intense. At Hopewell Junction on The line the Pennsylvania road, there was a freight wreck right in the midst of the storm, a freight train having been derailed on account of a misplaced switch. j ' 1 1
