LINDA LVDIA AKKANEN Mrs. Linda Lydia Akkanen. 46. died at her home at 1004 Johnstone Street Tuesday. June 30, 1953, at 12:30 p. m. Born in Rudyard on June 3, 190". Mrs. Akkanen had lived in Chippewa County all of her life. She was a member of the Finnish Lutheran Church in the Sault. Surviving are her husband. John; a son. John Jr., of the Sault: three daughters. Mrs. James Willette of the Sault, Mrs. - Melvin Smith of San Diego. Calif., and Mrs. Basil Christie of El Paso, Texas; thiee grandchildren: her mother, Mrs. Lydia Kokko of Rudyard: four brothers, Leonard, Eino and Arthur of the Sault and Emil of Rudyard; and six sisters, Mrs. Anna Oja of Rudyard. and Mrs. Miles Mathews. Mrs. William Neai, Mrs. Stanley ! Jacek. Mrs. Hans Kaunnisto. and Mrs. Malcolm Warner, all of the Sault. The body is at the Vanderhook Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are incomplete pending word from relatives.
