LARGE DOCKET FACES NEXT CRIMINAL TERM SUPERIOR COURT CONVENES NEXT MONDAY MORNING. I More Than 37$ Cases Am Already on the Docket. Several Being Homicide Case. With one of the heaviest dockets In many years,., the spring term of Superior court for the trial of crimi nal cases will convene next Monday, April 8, with Judge W. F. Harding again on the bench. While a large number of cases were disposed of at the last regular term In January, the docket Is even larger now than It was at that time. At least two homicide, cases, that were continued over from the last term of court, will be tried. - These are the George Bates murder case and the Embler casa in West Asheville. In the first named case, George Bates was stabbed to death In bis father's house on Poplar street nearly a year ago. The three defendants In this case, who were arraigned and who entered pleas of not guilty at the last term, re Andy Bates, John Killlan and Bessie Munsey. According to Solicitor J. E. Swain, the three will be tried for murder In the second degree. '
