GUNNER KILLED OVER GERMANY Sgt Richard F. Yergey, Previously Reported as Missing, Died in Action Sgt. Richard F. Yergey, who was reported missing in action over Germany Nov. 26 was killed in action.; according to a later telegram from the War department to his wife, j Mrs. Anna (Sell) Yergey. of 74 North Franklin street. He entered the service Sept. 9 1943, and trained for Army Air Force j duty at Miami Beach, Fla.; at an armament school at Denver, Col.; a gunnery school at Harlingen, Tex., and underwent special flying gun- nerv training at Boise. Idaho. He j went overseas Sept. 28. 1944. and , was attached to an air squadron as a ball-turret gunner. Besides his wife, he is survived by his parents, Fred and Laura (Eshbach) Yergey. of 310 North Evans street. He was a member of Trinity Reformed church.
