into O. at at in .T of CRr.STI.IXE, Mr. Grover Maxton and Miss Mollie Mollie Thomas were married in Columbus Wednesday. Mr. Maxton has a farm rented two miles south of town. He and his bride will now be located in their new home. Several relatives gathered at their home in the evening to welcome them. The groom Is a nephew of Oeo. Maxton, of this city, while the bride is a daughter of Chas Thomas of Columbus. Mrs. Sue Perkins of Washington, visited Mrs. Anna B. Hullum and Mrs. Rosa Maxton this week. Walter L. Bradshaw left Monday morning on a business trip to Miami, Okla. Mr. and Mrs. Snm Milner of Columbus, Columbus, were visiting at the home of R. H. Settle. Sunday. Dean Johnson was over from Jop- Jop- lin, Saturday and took first degree in the Odd Fellows' lodge Saturday night. Bonnie Alderson and Ina Settle were in Joplin, Saturday. Earl Maxton came over Saturday from Joplin and returned Sunday. J. O. Johnson was up from Joplin. Sunday.
